They are currently looking for an experienced Electronic Production Engineer, who is not afraid to stand their ground when faced with differing opinions, to join their team. The purpose for this role is to oversee and improve the production processes in terms of the quality, provide technical support to the production team The Electronic Production Engineer is responsible for implementing a high quality, low volume, high values production environment for our client's assembly line. There is a complex system of Android based computers, Optics, Lasers, Precision GPS systems in a rugged enclosure. This will be achieved evaluating existing processes and procedures and developing and implementing effective production process strategies incorporating continuous improvement. Project management of many with internal and external experts' projects is essential to provide coverage. To be successful for this position you must be able to: - » Measuring and reporting factory throughput and waste » Proactively finding and prioritizing areas for improvement » Scoping improvement projects » Managing internal experts, and external contractors to deliver specifics technical assistance » Triage, repair, return device » Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems for device » Assist Operations Manager with various tasks » Project management would be advantageous QUALIFICATIONS » Diploma or Certificate in electronic/microtronics or » Proven 2-3 years relevant experience » Test Jigs design and building experience preferred but not necessary To be successful in these positions, a Ministry of Justice Check, Pre-employment drug test and Two Verbal References must be satisfactory prior to commencement of this position.
