Reporting to the Managing Director, the Technical Delivery Expert Audio will work primarily in the Audio Department with some time working across all aspects of technical delivery. You will deliver consistent and high quality service, working collaboratively with the Head of Audio and our Technical Solutions Experts to lead our team of technicians. You will have excellent communication and time management expertise, be calm under pressure, and utilise your practice in the industry to problem solve.
The function
   » Deliver quality audio service to ACLX's clients
   » Lead large scale events and ACLX jobs
   » Pack-in, operation and pack-out of audio equipment for events
   » Preparation, maintenance and storage of audio equipment
   » Coordinate the operation of the Audio Department
   » Communicate with venues and venue management

   » Reporting to the Managing Director

Our ideal candidate will have:
   » Minimum 5 years' practice with audio in the event & entertainment industry
   » Full NZ Driver Licence
   » EWP unit standards
   » Working at Heights unit standards
   » A significant tertiary qualification
Core Competencies:
   » capability to set up and operate a digital sound console
   » An instinct for technical troubleshooting
   » Strong general computer expertise including Powerpoint, Qlab, Dante and other significant audio playback and control software
   » Familiarity with Rental Management Software
   » expertise of event management and production services
   » practice in design, setting up and operation of a line-array sound system would be an advantage.
