About the function As we enter into an exciting period of growth beyond the impacts of Covid-19, We are seeking for someone who is excited about marketing, developing and implementing digital marketing and social media strategies. The right person will be organised, passionate about live events and excels in developing and implementing targeted marketing strategies. The Marketing Coordinator function is responsible for the digital engagement of our patrons, clients, friends, supporters, and artists. The function includes developing, maintaining, and implementing the digital content calendar, updating the website, developing, and maintaining marketing campaigns for events and venue promotions, CRM, graphic design, copywriting, signage and other marketing and administrative tasks as required. It is envisaged that this function will start at 3 days a week initially, developing into a full-time function for the right person. Your main focus initially will be maintaining our digital engagement with patrons, visitors, friends and stakeholders.It is anticipated that the function will develop as the impacts of Covid-19 dissipate. This includes developing, maintaining implementing marketing campaigns and reporting on the effectiveness of those campaigns. The Ideal Person » Tertiary level qualification (or working towards) in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields. » 2-4 years' practice in Marketing(Digital and social media marketing practice) » Strong organisational and time management expertise. » Excellent attention to detail and copy writing expertise. » Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital marketing engagement strategies » A self-starter and able to independently advance tasks and projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines » High level of creativity » Excellent customer service expertise, responding to requests promptly, accurately and appropriately. » Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal expertise. » Good expertise of online theatre, music, entertainment media and blogs » Proficiency in the use of Adobe Photoshop » Previous practice in maintaining a website » capability to work autonomously and within a team » Proficient use of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Powerpoint » practice in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and media representatives » A great attitude - proactive, confident, capability to prioritize and demonstrate initiative Desirable expertise » practiced with venue management software (Priava). » practice in ticketing (Ticketek). » practice with Adobe Suite » Design or photography practice. » Advanced MS Office user with capability to lgain new software effectively. » Event Planning practice.
