You will be accountable for monitoring the work in progress of projects, investigates variances budget, assists the Financial Controller in ensuring project billings are issued to customers and payments collected. this function will also assist with the development of the financial aspects of the business case for each proposed project. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Project Reporting » Detailed financial analysis and regular WIP reporting » Working closely with manufacturing and project managers to ensure knowledge of projects' financial performance » Project Budgeting and forecasting » Reconciliation of data and identify and investigate variances against budget Financial Reporting » Assists the Financial Controller in completion of month-end deliverables » Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Accounts receivable » Assists the Financial Controller in preparation of project billings to customers The prosperous candidate will come with the following: Qualifications / practice » significant Tertiary qualification » Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with significant practice in a Finance team of a manufacturing/construction industry » practice with stakeholder management across financial and non-financial stakeholders » practice of working with multiple data sources and systems to compile and generate management reports » Knowledge of large ERP's is an advantage but not essential for this function » Advanced excel expertise If you are interested in this opportunity, please click the APPLY NOW button.
