Working at Te Tari Taiwhenua | the Department of Internal Affairs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of New Zealanders.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the diverse Ministerial, Monitoring, and Capcapability Group. Reporting to the Director of the Group, you will lead a team of three dedicated and hard-working Business Support Administrators, providing critical administration, business, and systems support to the Group, the Branch, and the Department.
You're at that stage in your career where you can bring a mix of great skills to the job. You can show skills in developing and maintaining excellent relationships, you enjoy working with people, you feel energised coming up with new ideas, and your organisational skills show a flair for project coordination and customer service. You are excited by administrative and systems improvements and have a keen attention to detail. As a people leader and a member of a bigger leadership abilities team, you are driven by your team's positive culture, and the collective team dynamic of the Group as a whole.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has shown some flair and enthusiasm for people management and is looking to develop further in team leadership abilities.
You will need to be able to commit at least 30 hours per week and will be supported to work flexibly form the office and in the house.
