An exciting and diverse function as the Miro Events Operations Manager has become available, a function that allows for autonomy, management and of course some fun. We are taking time to find the right person for this position, some key attributes required are: A minimum of 2 years in a similar function Current LCQ and DM licence is essential A genuine love/passion for the hospitality industry Dedication to the function, team and guests Time management and punctuality Great communication expertise Eye for detail and aiming for perfection Like to work independently with confidence Positive and fun attitude to the team and guests Impeccable service standards to keep in line with Miro restaurant Flexibility Things don't alway go as planned so problem solving a quick thinking is a must Organization and multitasking expertise Keeping calm under pressure The capability to deal with challenging situations quickly and calmly functions and responsibilities include: Evening and weekend work Rostering, recruitment and managing your own team Leading a flawless event from start to finish Coordination with external operators Setup and breakdown, there is some grunt work involved Ordering stock and maintaining par levels Working towards the weekly numbers given in order to meet company targets Close communication with the kitchen team Responsible for our events social media account The capability to organise events and previous practice with events software, this is desirable but not essential as training on this can be given Keep close communication with the Sales Manager A sound knowledge of health and safety What we can offer you: Christmas off!
