Lead Development Support Analyst
Positions in Auckland and Wellington
The purpose of this position is to work within the organisation's infrastructure and Middleware applications team. You will be supporting effective development, implementation, management and monitoring of over 300 applications. This is a highly complex function where no two days will be the same. As a result, you will be adaptable and pragmatic in your approach and love a challenge – as this function provides plenty of challenges and problem-solving opportunities.
tasks:
   » The day-to-day operations and support of both current and future Middleware applications.
   » Responsible for innovation, continuous improvement/continuous delivery and process development.
   » Participation in the development and operation of key projects across the wider group.
   » Utilise of your technical and business communication expertise to ensure cross-functionality.
function Requirements:
   » practice installing, configuring, tuning, operating, monitoring and troubleshooting application servers – particularly with WebLogic.
   » Track record of working in enterprise productions environments (100+ applications) where you have had to balance a range of different applications and tasks.
   » practice working with a variety of different application servers and Middleware platforms such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, and Datapower.
   » broad shell scripting practice either across Python, Unix, or Linux.
   » The capability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team where you support individuals as well as the wider team to achieve common goals.
   » Although training is provided Information technology would be highly advantageous if you had any practice with F5.
