About the function:
located in South Auckland, this is a unique contract opportunity for a proven senior-level HR Business Partner to step into and evolve the full employee lifecycle of activities for a nationwide SME with the aim to restore trust in the HR function.
Working closely with the CEO, across the full spectrum of the human resources portfolio, we require an HR professional who enjoys a hands-on operational function, able to provide sound generalist HR advice (Health and Safety, Payroll, performance reviews, etc) insights and operational guidance, becoming a trusted advisor to the senior management team and people leaders within the business.
As this reputable organisation has a new leadership abilities team and is in transition, a key focus will be to review the current state of the HR function and develop and implement change activities to ensure fit-for-purpose HR processes, policies, and procedures. This change will support the Auckland-located Head Office that also supports the nationwide branch network, along with promoting company values and working towards building a positive culture.
About you:
We are seeking for a practical and hands-on HR professional, with practice in a similar HR BP generalist function or Head of HR function for an SME, with a sound knowledge of employment legislation, and HR best practices across the range of HR disciplines.
Due to the nature of the industry, we require a highly resilient, confident, and skilled professional that demonstrates success in the capability to influence change, has excellent relationship management expertise, has core HR knowledge and practice, with the capability to build trust and credibility with the business, able to work collaboratively across the business to drive improvements and strengthen performance.
Structured, credible, driven, and resourceful will sum up the ideal contractor's personal attributes.
