We are seeking for a confident night owl to carry our our nightly noise checks. This is 1hr per day at around 10pm each night. Information technology is a reasonably straight forward job that will involve some courtesy reminders to our guests about the quiet period in camp, along with securely locking off the games room and overflow parking areas, and then a quick walk to the beach to check if anyone has lit a fire. There maybe the rare occasion that extra assistance is required from other departments i.e you need to contact the local fireman as you spotted a fire on the beach. Generally speaking our guests are well behaved. In return for your 1 hours work we will pay you in lieu of accommodation. This is a spacious powered site in our lovely staffing area that is surrounded by nature. You will also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, toilet, hot water shower and laundry facilities. And in the morning you can enjoy a hot cuppa made from our Barista should you want one. BYO caravan, tent, campervan, bus etc. We can provide you with a tent if needed. Any extra hours you complete will be paid at $22 per hour plus 8% holiday pay. Opportunity for extra hours will be limited however and on a casual basis. So Information technology would suit someone that is either working locally and needs somewhere to stay or perhaps you are just looking for a beautiful place to bunk up in over summer. If any extra work become available the majority of Information technology would be cleaning, with the possibility of rubbish runs, ground maintenance, reception / store and barista work. Depending on your skill set. We require a minimum commitment until end of January 2023. Or you can stay on anytime from there until the end of April when we close up for the season. Opoutere Coastal Camping is a small private campground located in The Coromondel Peninsula.
