Position Description - Regional Account Manager - (Sales Representative)

We are looking for a Sales Representative for our Auckland based office. Our established client offers a company car, base salary, and high commission structure. You would need to have a passion for face to face interaction, service delivery, attention to detail and strong relationship skills. Dealing with FMCG, Retail and Commercial client base with a strong communication and liaison ability.

Our amazing client has been in operation from 1973,and have a passion for helping customers discover great value in premium wines, Craft Beer and Kombucha. They established themselves and have some the oldest vines in the South Island.

Purpose of Position

The Regional Account Manager position is responsible for achieving key sales objectives through the relationship and account management of multiple retailers, wholesalers and on premise accounts. The position is responsible for managing the growth and development of the Kahurangi product portfolio mix and brand value in a defined market area, maximising on and off premise market share and supporting optimal retail and merchandising strategies and solutions. The Regional Account Manager will independently drive sales and brand initiatives to achieve the financial objectives and goals and proactively ensure the integrity of the Kahurangi brand and its business model.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and maintain positive relationships with regional customers and stakeholders to achieve territory plan and performance objectives

Develop and annual territory account management plan for achieving budgeted sales figures for defined regional area.

Develop promotional strategy for regional area, in conjunction with Managing Director for on and off premise events and promotion.

Develop and service the on and off premise market in the total defined territory Promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship based approach.

Develop and maintain relationships with the New World, PakNSave and Fresh Choice Supermarkets in the defined territory.

Develop clear and effective written proposals for current and prospective

customers.

Produce monthly area reports and accomplishments.

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Provide assistance in other markets as required from time to time.

Provide merchandise services to our customer base as required.

Grow the product portfolio by recommending new product lines by identifying consumer trends and tracking competitors.
