Job Offer: Support Services Team Leader:University of AucklandJob description:Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to step into the function as a Team Leader in University Health and Counselling Support Services(UCHS). this function will provide leadership abilities to the support services team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will supervise support services and work collaboratively to deliver high-quality operations and administrative support to the clinical teams and to ensure excellent customer service for students. As a Support Services Team Leader, you will effectively manage administration support to the UHCS across three sites. The key accountcapability of the function include: » Administration – ensuring the smooth running of all everyday admin and reception tasks, including staffrostering, student appointment scheduling, records and expertise management, » Database management of the Patient Management System » Compliance and accreditation – this includes management of policies, procedures and systems including client-facing activities, facilities management, health, safety and emergency management processes. » Customer Service - ensuring best practice standards are met for all UHCS student facing activities For more information, please view theposition description. Our ideal candidate will be: » People-orientated – you will be natural people person with the capability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders » A Leader – with proven leadership abilities practice, and will be attuned to the needs of your team, value individual contributions and be able to inspire and motivate. » Innovative – Committed to continuous improvement you will be able to deliver significant and timely administrative and reception support to the clinical teams and coordinate rosters and reception coverage along with ensuring that customer service excellence goals are met. » Able to work in a fast paced and changing environment, juggling different demands on a everyday basis QualificationsNga P?kenga Motuhake | Important expertise» A significant tertiary qualification or practice in healthcare management or business management and leadership abilities » Proven practice in staff and team leadership abilities and management including coaching, mentoring and staff development within a high demand service environment » practice with audits, compliance activities and accreditations » Sound business administration acumen and expertise of core functions and administrative processes and good practice; including planning and the development and improvement of operating policies and guidelines. » Good working familiarity and the capability to lgain new systems including Microsoft Office desktop suite, Patient management systems and other health-related systems » Demonstrated capability to respond appropriately and calmly in crisis situations, and to execute under pressure. » Demonstrated commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and the capability to incorporate in significant ways.
