Opportunities are welcome to people with experience or someone who is brand new to the industry. This is a full-time role best suited to someone who is physically fit and enjoys spending their day outdoors, who is experienced, versatile, reliable and has a good work ethic. If you're focused on your career progression, expanding your skills and challenging your capabilities, this is the right choice for you. This role will literally take you places as you will get to travel Tasman with our client Your role will include the following: » Surface Preparation » Sealing and asphalt surfacing - potholes, subdivision access ways and state highway carriageway resurfacing. » Operating trucks, pavers, skid steers, rollers, bobcats, and more. To Be successful in this role you will need: » A minimum class 1 full New Zealand Driver's License » Be able to supply 2x work references » Previous experience working with surfacing (not essential) » Class 2,4,5 and WTR endorsements (not essential) » A love for fitness, as this work will require you to carry out hands-on activities such as shovelling, digging, lifting, periods of walking and standing Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
