Job Offer: Verifier/Lead reviewer:MinEducationJob description:Job Description»Verifier/Lead Reviewer»(Two positions) Applications are invited for Verifier/Lead reviewers to work in the Ministry of Education’s Assurance and Eligibility team. We are seeking for professionals who have a significant breadth of skills, specialist knowledge and leadership abilities practice delivering learning support in education settings. You will need to be a team player who has the capability to work under pressure of deadlines and have a strong customer service orientation. You will also ideally have knowledge of evaluation methodology. These positions will be located in the prosperous applicant’s region and report to the Manager Assurance and Eligibility who is located in Wellington. Verifiers/lead reviewers use their specialist skills and knowledge to determine the eligibility for the continuing Resourcing Scheme and the School High Health Needs Fund. Verifiers/Lead reviewers also have a function in monitoring the quality of the specialist services delivered to children and young people with high support needs in the early childhood and school sectors. You will have the following: » Research and analysis skills including the capability to analyse and critique information » Specialist knowledge of all aspects of discapability » Strong personal organisation » Knowledge of current evaluation methodology » Attention to detail, capability to accurately peer review » Excellent interpersonal skills » Excellent written and oral communication skills » A proven capability to work with a diverse range of people who have a stake in the eligibility process » A proven capability to work effectively in a consensus decision making environment These are full-time permanent positions.
