The prosperous candidate will be part of AUT’s vibrant Department of Marketing which delivers quality teaching and learning practices in marketing at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. The function contributes to University and Faculty priorities in teaching and learning, research and scholarship, and academic leadership abilities/service. The appointee is expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and active engagement in research and publication, along with indications of significant engagement with business and communities of interest. candidates for the post of senior lecturer should have a PhD degree in marketing, a very good teaching record at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, a platform of quality peer reviewed academic publications and evidence of engagement in academic and broader communities. candidates at lecturer level should have a PhD in marketing, or nearly completed PhD and publications, plus proven university level teaching practice. The Auckland University of Technology Business School has a reputation as a leading provider of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate business education, with strong links to business, employers and professional bodies. Information technology is accredited by AACSB and EQUIS. Our programmes comprise a very prosperous Bachelor of Business, research and course-work master’s degrees, including a Master of Business, a Master of Marketing as well as Master and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
