We are seeking for an practiced Administrative Support person to provide high quality service within the National Security Group. this function with the K?puia Secretariat will be focused on the Government Response to the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the terrorist attacks on Christchurch mosques and will be working with the National Security Policy Team.
You will be part of a team which fosters a positive culture and environment.
Our ideal candidate will bring:
   » capability to multitask, re-prioritise and proactively manage issues that arise during the day whilst keeping calm and professional in demanding situations and without losing attention to detail
   » capability to prosperously work at pace and with ambiguity
   » General office and administration practice, including minute taking if required
   » High level computer expertise, particularly in Microsoft Office and document management
   » Efficient expertise in diary management
   » Has expertise of central government processes would be ideal
   » practice working in an administrative team environment
this function requires the capability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance. You must satisfactorily complete pre-employment checks which will include, but is not limited to, criminal and credit checks. Preferred candidate/s who have worked in the Public Service and statutory Crown entities in the past three years will be subject to a serious misconduct check.
