The Marketing team comprises an energetic group of people who work passionately to protect and build the reputation of the University amongst its diverse stakeholder groups and customers.
Ng? k?rero m? te t?ranga – About the function
This is an important and timely function in which your purpose will be to lift the University’s capability to focus more strategically on marketing to diverse M?ori communities and stakeholders.
You will lead the planning, development and delivery of marketing to M?ori across the University, with a key part of the function being encouraging the use of Te Reo and providing guidance on tikanga across all Marketing activity.
You will be a senior member of a large Marketing team responsible for international and domestic marketing, divisional marketing, brand strategy, advertising, social media, website, marketing content, and design and creative services.

A leader and master collaborator with creative flair, you will be an practiced Marketer, who is engaging and influential, and practiced at working in large organisations. You place a high value in flexibility, trust, and partnering in the workplace. With people at the heart, you work with integrity and respect for people from all backgrounds and cultures.
Alongside these attributes, you will also have the following:
   » A Bachelors’ qualification in Marketing or Communications
   » Eight plus years’ practice in Marketing or Communications
   » Demonstrated confidence and proficiency in both written and spoken Te Reo, Tikanga M?ori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi

The income for this position will be in the range of $100,464 to $110,620 per year dependent on the qualifications, expertise and practice of the prosperous candidate.
