This is a small customer focused chartered accounting practice - who have been operating for around 15 years. You will be working with a team of CA qualified, and some junior, aspiring Accountants towards a common goal of partnering with clients to help them succeed. We are seeking for a Qualified CA , with the capability to do a mixture of compliance and some advisory work to join this small, close knit practice in Glen Eden. this function will also involve providing peer review and management of the accounting team to deliver on time/budget and exceptional customer service to all customers. There will be a focus on delivering accurate financial reporting and tax compliance to customers across the team, which in turn will help them to grow revenue and meet their own objectives -fostering a long and fruitful business relationship on both sides. Job responsibilities: » Help to train and review other team member's work. » Assist with the month-end close, monthly financial reports compilation and analysis. » Assist with annual audit process including the draft of financial statements. » Collation of source documents to verify client accounting system data. » Annual Accounts preparation. » Preparation of Tax Returns - GST, FBT, RWT, earnings Tax. » Management of earnings Tax payments including provisional tax estimates. » Analyse transactions and prepare reports on request. » Stay informed on accounting developments and changes in regulations. » Develop and improve internal processes.
