Junior Programme Advisor

About the team
In partnership with the various teams in Improvement, Systems and Technology (IST), the business and our Information technology suppliers, we help in the initiation, planning and delivery of solutions that meet the needs of the business.
this function will focus on scheduling, co-ordinating and providing IST's responses to regular and ad hoc information requests and action points coming from Government and from MSD governance committees and business units.
As the Junior Programme Advisor, you will:
   » Co-ordinate IST responses to incoming requests for information and actions arising from a range of sources.(Sources include MSD Annual Report, Official Information Act, Parliamentary Questions, Select and Estimates Committees,NZ Audit, Government Ministers, other Government agencies and MSD Governance Committees and DCE offices.)
   » Work closely with a wide variety of IST teams that will provide the information and content required to adequately respond to the information and action requests.
   » Collaborate and communicate with IST teams and managers to ensure that assigned pieces of work are completed to quality standards and within expected timeframes.
   » Collate information and prepare reports to with a high degree of accuracy and presentation quality.
   » Maintain an annual calendar of information and action requests.
   » Administer the IST Gift Register.
We are seeking for the ideal person who:
   » Is comfortable working with staff at various levels within the organisation, and across multiple IST and MSD teams.
   » Can develop and maintain trust and good working relationships.
   » Can self-manage, plan, organise, and Execute both alone and in collaboration with others.
Technical expertise:
   » Some practice or knowledge of significant NZ Government processes to support this function.
   » Microsoft Office suite expertise.
   » Effective written and oral communication expertise.
   » Some knowledge of working in an Agile Information technology environment.
