The Opportunity

Join a dynamic research and evaluation team producing evidence that informs decision making for better social results. Bring your responsive project management and business analyst skills to help us hone the way we manage research and evaluation for results.
The function sits within the Research and Evaluation team in the Strategy and Insights Group. Our Group leads development and implementation of the Ministry's strategy by creating insights for effective decision making, focusing resources on the right investments, and knowledge and evaluating performance.
About the team
The Research and Evaluation team are champions and custodians of evidence within the Ministry. We are responsible for looking ahead, developing, and delivering a programme of research and evaluative work that produces insights and positions knowledge products to shape the Ministry's strategic decisions. We are experts in results-located design, research, and evaluation, deploying a range of methodologies to answer questions at the core of effective social development intervention. We support quality, ethics, publication, transparency, and empowerment through the research process.
About the function
We are seeking for someone to help us excel in responsive project management to maximise value and performance from research and evaluation investments. We produce ground-breaking analytical work and are on a mission to maximise the value that research and evaluation delivers for MSD and for social development results. For that, we need better visibility of how our work programme is performing and a responsive approach to project management in a dynamic environment.
this function will see you superviseing and strengthening processes and tools help us hone project performance across our research and evaluation work programme, building our team project management capcapability along the way.
We are seeking for a Project Manager with strong relationship skills and a results focus. You'll have practice in leading work planning, quality assurance, and business process, with strong interpersonal and communications skills. You thrive on building significant relationships with your teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders across a range of MSD networks.
You're a natural leader that can be innovative and strategic. You can contribute outside of your area, challenge current thinking, anticipate future issues and help teams deliver quality influential work on time – Better Insights, Better Decisions, Better Lives.
If you have a proactive approach to solving problems, are meticulously organised, systematic and planned while managing deadlines then we'd like to hear from you.
