We are a couple who are passionate about the dairy industry with a drive to continue building our business and grow and develop the people around us. The 100ha farm milks 400 Jersey-Cross cows through a 40-aside Herringbone shed and has a large focus on producing high quality milk from high quality pasture. The farm includes a run-off in close proximity where cows are wintered. We are currently looking for someone in a farm adjunct capacity for 3 to 4 months. The farm adjunct function will be responsible for supporting the farm team. As we are a small farm, the function offers great variety, including a key focus on milking & shed practices, animal health, pasture management, irrigation and effluent management. Please Note: Prior practice with animals or farming is a bonus, but not strictly necessary, as we do offer full on-farm training.
