In this exciting function, among other tasks, you will: » Evaluate the workforce opportunities and tools needed to meet KMR and partner aspirations » Implement agreed workforce development results, including working with partners to establish a KMR Employment Hub. » Investigate potential alternative funding mechanisms for KMR, focusing in particular on third party partnership opportunities. » Provide skills on future-focused business innovations to ensure KMR can deliver its objectives and meet delivery expectations. » Build great relationships with KMR partners, iwi and hap?, the community and industry. » Engage effectively externally, including via presentations and hui. » Ensuring a bi-cultural lens and focus is appropriately used. To be prosperous you are likely to have: » A degree level qualification in a significant field. » Proven practice in function(s) related to skills, workforce development, industry training, vocational education, and/or qualifications (approx. 5 years or more). » A track record of building, managing and reporting on complex, fast-moving projects. » Great written and spoken communication and relationship building skills. » Demonstrated commercial or financial acumen. » A good knowledge of working in Te Ao M?ori and with iwi and hap?. » Familiarity with Te Tai Tokerau/T?maki Makaurau workforce and community networks, or a demonstrated capability to connect with and develop these » Excellent analytical, research, conceptual-thinking and problem-solving skills. » capability to think creatively and effectively in terms of the “big picture”. » Great interpersonal and team skills.
