Reducing the incidence and severity of injuries is a strategic priority for ACC and one of the many ways we help to improve lives every day. ACC is increasing its investment in injury avoidance and implementing an ambitious Injury avoidance Strategy.
With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. With the goal to reduce injury and fatalities, Information technology is important that you are highly motivated to make a difference in the health results for New Zealanders.
We need someone who can take initiative when required working in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement solutions to growing injury trends which impact the schemes licapability.
The Injury avoidance Partner is responsible for designing, managing and continuously improving a range of Injury avoidance programmes. Key to success will be taking a methodical intervention logic-located approach to knowledge true-root cause of harm and collaborating on solutions across a wide variety of stakeholders.
Our established team is seeking someone who would like to join us in preventing injuries to ensure Kiwis can live quality, independent lives doing what they love. Our team includes the focus areas of road, sport, traumatic brain injury and falls injury avoidance.
In this function you will:
   » work with internal and external partners, contributing to the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of injury avoidance programmes and initiatives
   » work collaboratively with the wider Injury avoidance team to identify new programmes of work and will be able to prosperously reach out to identified target groups
   » have practice in design, development, and delivery of projects, as well as practice in customer design principles, evaluation and change programmes
   » have a strong focus on developing strategies which affect behaviour change to improve health results for New Zealanders
   » lead team members to deliver programmes which provide positive impacts on targets including identifying risks to the programmes
   » have practice working in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines.
To be prosperous you’ll need the following:
   » An interest/practice in behaviour change and or injury avoidance
   » An knowledge of customer centric design and Agile working practices
   » practice in designing from inception and delivering programmes with a strong focus on planning, organising, and delivery plans
   » Proven practice of engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups and the capability to build effective working relationships
   » Practical practice in business and reporting writing.
   » practice assimilating and translating complex information into concise and clear format.
   » The capability to manage multiple competing priorities and activities simultaneously
   » practice with gathering, summarising and analysing customer insights through interviews and surveys
   » Tertiary or advanced qualification in an appropriate discipline such as business, project management, health services management, service design
An attractive income $94k – $120k depending on practice,plus 9% super is on offer, along with an opportunity to grow and develop your career in one of New Zealand’s leading government agencies.
