Our Institute of Education programmes cover the spectrum of Graduate and Postgraduate professional education pathways in Education. We are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to support the design, development and delivery of Teacher Education Programmes in Te Kura o Te M?tauranga/Institute of Education. For appointment to the Senior Lecturer scale, you will have a significant doctoral degree. You will have demonstrated competence in working in the Teacher Education field and have the capability to work effectively with M?ori and facilitate teacher education programmes consistent with M?ori aspirations and expectations. You will be able to provide evidence of contemporary knowledge and expertise of best practice in teacher and teacher education. You will have a proven research publication record. For appointment to the Lecturer scale, you will have a significant doctoral degree, or demonstrate progress towards or near completion of a significant Doctoral degree and have demonstrated competence in working in the Teacher Education field and/or within the schooling sector, and have the capability to work effectively with M?ori and facilitate teacher education programmes consistent with M?ori aspirations and expectations. You will be able to provide evidence of contemporary knowledge and expertise of best practice in teaching and/or teacher education. Massey University is committed to being a Tiriti-led organisation.
