Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, We are pursuing a senior, practiced, well-rounded, self-motivated person to join our System Engineering team. You will need to have a range of technical expertise including a detailed knowledge of core internet technologies. The function is varied and will be mostly system engineering focused. This will include some customer support, mentoring and guiding other system engineers, and becoming familiar with all the Company’s Security products and services, including SEEMail, PKI certificate renewals, DNS queries, and security compliance requirements. Some after-hours work may be required. practice desirable in the following technical areas: Core Linux OS practice - distribution agnostic Linux automation, management, orchestration, and maintenance Scripting practice is beneficial Containerisation practice Sound knowledge of DNS Sound knowledge of PKI Mail routing and filtering Networking - router, switch, firewall IT security principles You need to be innovative with a "can do" attitude. You MUST be able to obtain a New Zealand security clearance so will need to have been resident in New Zealand for at least 5 years.
