As an intermediate software engineer, you will be an integral part of the software development team responsible for the our software stack. The team operates in AWS, processing real-time GPS events from thousands of devices, generating reports, and presenting information through user-friendly applications. Benefits: » Modern Office » Flexible working hours » Be part of a small cross-functional development team » Opportunity to grow your career as the company grows Key Responsibilities: » Develop new features and improvements for the software stack. » Maintain the existing software stack to ensure performance and stability. » Bring innovation and new ideas to the development team. » Collaborate with software engineers within your team and across other teams. » Follow Agile Scrum principles for efficient development processes. » Review and provide feedback on code developed by other engineers. » Conduct thorough quality assurance on all code. » Maintain good automated testing and code coverage practices. » Perform business analysis on new features as required. » Deploy changes to the AWS software stack with minimal downtime. » Uphold security practices. » Present work to stakeholders and other teams within the company. » Write and maintain technical and non-technical documentation. Requirements: » Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional software development career. » Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java/Scala, Go, and Javascript. » Strong problem-solving skills, self-driven with a thirst for learning. » Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). » Familiarity with requirements gathering and acceptance criteria. » Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. » Ability to seek first to understand and ask the right questions to customers and colleagues.
