The function
We have great permanent, full-time opportunities for Lecturers or Senior Lecturers with skills across new economy business disciplines to make significant impact and develop their career in teaching, research and service. prosperous candidates would become members of our highly prosperousBusiness School(AACSB and EQUIS accredited). We are seeking to develop greater flexibility in future deployment into a changing curriculum, aligned to strategy promoting a cross-disciplinary focus.
We are particularly interested in candidates who would contribute to our teaching and research in at least two of the following fields:
Data analytics, Technology and Innovation Management, Digital Innovation, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Project and Supply Chain Management, Financial Technology, Sustainable Finance, Information Systems, Innovation Strategy, Digital Business and Entrepreneurship
You’ll teach across programmes as assigned by the Head of Department. We embrace practice-led, as well as research-informed, approaches to teaching where the student practice is optimised. You will be expected to publish actively in your specialised field/s. We offer an excellent research environment with contereliable research funds, and with guidance available from senior scholars. Information technology is also expected that over time the prosperous candidate will seek external research funding, engage with government, business, professional bodies and the community, and contribute to School/Faculty activities. Post-COVID professional development opportunities for faculty staff continue to expand.
You will have an open, engaging and collaborative attitude that is flexible to changing requirements. You will enhance the positive energy and collegiality within the Faculty and must embrace and value diversity and enjoy working inclusively with students and colleagues!

Qualification:
   » A completed PhD in a significant business discipline
Teaching and Learning:
   » An early career academic will ideally have at least some previous teaching adjunct practice.
   » More practiced candidates will have previous lecturing practice, evidence of curriculum development and also preferably practice supervising Masters and/or PhD students.
Research and Scholarship:
   » Research interests should be in at least two of the following areas: Data analytics, Technology and Innovation Management, Digital Innovation, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Project and Supply Chain Management, Financial Technology, Sustainable Finance, Information Systems, Innovation Strategy, Digital Business and Entrepreneurship
   » An early career academic will have the basis of a solid research pipeline and a job market paper available
   » More practiced candidates will already have a proven research track record with quality publications and ideally also success in external funding bids.

   »Term: The prosperous candidate will secure a permanent, full-time appointment.
   »income ranges: Lecturer – $85,584 to $101,855. Senior lecturer – $104,856 to $137,107 (specific step within ranges commensurate with significant skills and practice).
