We are seeking motivated and reliable pick packers for our client Foodstuffs coolstores located here in Palmerston North! This is a great opportunity to join a 100% New Zealand owned and operated company and help supply New Zealander's with their favourite supermarket products. You will be part of a team responsible for accurately picking orders for supermarkets and four squares across the North Island. You will gain your pump-license on your first week and will have the opportunity to gain your forklift license and reach truck experience! We have positions starting immediately! We are looking for multiple pick-packers to be trained up and ready ahead of the busy Christmas season! You will be in a set 40 hour roster from Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday 10:30PM to 6:30AM with plenty of overtime available (paid at time and a half!!$$). This position is in a chiller so you must be comfortable working in the cold - we will provide you with all the warm gear you will need to be safe and warm! To be successful: » Pass a pre-employment drug screen » High level of physical fitness » Previous pick-packing experience is advantageous however not necessary » Provide two positive work references » Looking for full-time employment We will provide you with full on the job training and provide all the PPE gear you need and a great work environment.
