The finance team is led by a renowned CFO, who is passionate about his staff and their career development. Due to an internal promotion, my client is seeking a Financial Accountant to step into this valuable function. You may be someone who has come out of the big four and ready to step into a commercial business. Previous knowledge and practice of the heavy haulage industry is not required, but interest in the industry is advantageous. About You: The ideal candidate will have the drive to develop their career, have great communication expertise and would enjoy having a BBQ with the crew on a Friday night. A tertiary qualified candidate, with a degree in accounting (or a similar level qualification) with at least three to four years’ practice is required for this function, ideally previous practice at a Chartered Accounts office. - Tertiary qualification in accounting; ideally a qualified Chartered Accountant - knowledge of NZ taxation requirements, including GST FBT and earnings tax - Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem solving expertise.
