Medical ReceptionistJob location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Step up from GP medical reception to Specialists! »$25/hour, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday »Epsom, free parking, shared café with public The Position » This is a busy Practice of Specialists where in a shared capacity you will be the first point of contact with patients and visitors, this will be for ½ the day, the rest has more of an administrative focus » You will coordinate services and be vitally important in prioritising work flows and managing patient expectations (no surgical activity) » Scheduling Clinics » Recalls » Southern Cross claims/remittances » Manual matching of results » Shared tasks will include incoming calls, meet and greet, booking appointments for all their Physicians, creating invoices, payments » Also shared are linen changes in each room, clearing faxes and posting mail You » A mature, calm and outgoing manner is essential and your wealth of practice as a Medical Receptionist (example from a busy GP Practice) will be well received. » Providing support to these Specialists will be very varied and interesting, your day will fly and your touch typing expertise will be a plus when taking notes and being on the phone simultaneously etc (but no medical typing) On offer » Cross over training if needed to their specialist software is provided » $25/hour » Onsite free parking » Café a short walk away » You’ll also be part of a vibrant and outgoing team headed by a caring and long serving Practice Manager » Handover available if able to start before end of June (due to our last lovely placement moving to Australia ie after a couple of years) Apply Please send an updated resume through to Sue Brash by clicking apply now.
