This role is essential in supporting our road maintenance and construction projects, ensuring the effective application of chip seal materials. Key Responsibilities: » Operate Class 4 vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. » Assist in the setup and operation of chip sealing equipment. » Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials. » Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. » Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. » Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. » Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications: » Valid Class 4 driver's license with a clean driving record. » Previous experience in chip sealing or road maintenance is an asset, but not required. » Strong understanding of safety practices in construction and driving. » Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. » Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. » Physical stamina and capability to perform manual tasks as needed.
