They are a team of highly skilled electrical engineers and electricians, what we need is additional skills in network design and installation. Your time will be split working from the Te Puna office/workshop and onsite with customers across the BOP. • Normally you’ll work 40 hours a week, with occasional after-hours and on-call work – which you’ll be paid overtime for. • Designing and installing data panels and data networks – LAN and remote access connections • Installing ethernet and fibre networks, installing routers, data switches and computers • Knowledge of industrial site network protocols • Selecting equipment, installing and setting up POE equipment • Selecting, installing and programming cameras and NVRs • Setting up operating systems, cloning, bias settings, raspberry pis and remote access • Software installation, set up and integration • Label printer maintenance The ideal candidate will have: • A proven background in network installation and have worked on industrial sites • A sound mechanical operational knowledge • Strong time management and organised; be able to work to deadlines and operate unsupervised • The capability to troubleshoot and diagnose network issues • The capability to communicate with a technical and nontechnical audience If you are looking to join an incredible company, please send your resume to Madeline by clicking Apply Now!
