Offer: Calf Feeding:Job description:Calf FeedingPayment: Paid Position ($23.76 including holiday pay)Job location: Pakaraka Region: Northland & Bay of Islands practice: No practice Necessary Contact: Alec Listing Added: 23/05/2022 We need 2 people to focus on feeding & caring for all 570 calves born on our family's dairy farm situated inland from the Bay of Islands, and 20 minutes drive from Kerikeri. There are many backpacker accommodation options available nearby in Kerikeri & Paihia. This job will suit 2 self-motivated people of above average fitness, who work well together, and who are committed to giving our calves the best possible start in life. Ideally at least 1 of you will be strong enough to lift calves (35-45kg) when necessary. We need your help from mid July until mid November (possibly until mid December if you want more farm work). The roster is 6 days on, then 1 week day off. Work days start at 7am. everyday hours are negotiable as we have someone who can do the afternoon feeds if necessary. We have other jobs (such as weed control & fencing) depending on your practice & capability - if you wish to earn more hours. Thank you for considering joining our team. Skills:
