We're currently looking for a full time Content Producer, located in our central Wellington office, reporting to the Marketing and Sales Manager and working with a busy, high performing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to be at the heart of a national arts organisation, connecting Kiwis of all ages with their national ballet company and telling inspiring and interesting stories about the RNZB's work, from studio to stage and in classrooms, prisons and more. In this function you will be responsible for planning, filming and editing a range of short and long form content for social media and other promotional channels. The content you create will be integral to prosperous national marketing campaigns. You'll work closely with the artistic team to give audiences a compelling window into the world of the RNZB that will inspire them to find out more and make ballet and dance part of their lives, onstage and onscreen. Day-to-day you'll be responsible for: » Planning, briefing, filming and editing video content, to agreed deadlines - typically two videos per week, although this may depend on the time of year and individual marketing campaigns » Re-editing footage into new formats to meet the requirements of fast-paced digital marketing campaigns » Filming dress rehearsals and some performances, including multi-camera set-ups, turning around footage quickly for promotional use » Managing the RNZB's video archive, sourcing footage for internal and external use as required » Supporting RNZB Education in the creation of online content, including training staff to use equipment Who and what are we looking for? » At least three years' practice in a similar function or as a busy freelance » practice in video production to a high standard, including working with brand guidelines and approvals processes » practice in on-camera interviewing » Excellent interpersonal expertise, especially in working with creative people of all ages » Strong problem-solving expertise and ?can-do' attitude » A strong interest in the performing arts, especially dance » Curious with an eagerness to learn, grow and continuously seek out improvements!
