Senior Business Analyst
The opportunity:
Do you want to be part of the biggest inhouse Information technology shop in the country? Working in an Agile environment we are continuing our journey and are actively promoting agility right all over the Ministry of Social Development.
To enable the Ministry to better help New Zealanders who need our support, we are experiencing rapid growth in our Information technology area to ensure solutions can be delivered to our front line and our clients quickly.
About the function:
As a Senior Business Analysts you will work across the Information technology Group and with vendors to ensure that all activity across the system development life-cycle is co-ordinated and focused on value delivery and post-production support.

Job requirements
   » Senior Technical BA with agile delivery lead practice
   » Elicit requirements from various sources
   » Document and present requirements.
   » Is able to map various system requirements into integration requirements
   » Is able to manage the delivery of projects using agile methodology
   » Follow the software delivery process (SDLC)
Technical expertise
   » practice in SQL, preferably Oracle
   » expertise of API's, JSON, SOAP message structures and database principles
   » expertise of modelling tools such as enterprise architecture
   » expertise of software environments (development, testing, production environments)
   » Integration practice, having practice with IBM Connect360 would be an advantage.
   » practice with IBM Business Process Management or Operational Decision Manager would be an advantage.
Personal attributes
   » Good personal and social expertise
   » Able to work under pressure
   » Able to manage conflict and be a team player
   » Good oral and written communicator expertise
   » Stakeholder management with the capability to interact at various levels of the organisation
