Our aim is to develop our venue whilst taking care of our customers and showcasing the quality Barker's food and beverage range. We like to have a bit of fun and add a bit of sparkle to our customers' day. We are well supported with a loyal customer base of locals and visitors to Geraldine, and this makes for a fast paced and dynamic work environment for our Kitchen, Bakery and Front of House team. Currently We are seeking for an amazing Sous Chef to be a part of our fun yet focused Kitchen team. As we have recently promoted our Sous Chef into our Head Chef function, the Sous Chef function is once again being recruited for. In this function, you will support our Head Chef but help develop our Commis Chef and hence get a chance to develop your leadership abilities expertise. You should have prior practice on optimising the quality of service, business growth and customer practice through positive working relationships with front of house teams as well. This position is hands on and due to the nature of the business the incumbent will be required to fulfil operational tasks and cover other tasks as required. Full training will be given on 'The Barker's Way'.
