Data Warehouse Database AdministratorJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »$95k -135k income »Permanent functions »Small, friendly, and collaborative team The function Reporting to the Data Warehouse Lead Developer, the primary purpose of this function is to provide support for the Data Warehouse databases and applications of a hugely diverse stakeholder group including staff, partners, suppliers, agencies and the people in our care. tasks • Software Installation and Maintenance – evaluate releases, testing, upgrades, patches etc. • Plan and implement backup and recovery of the Oracle databases. • Maintain, develop, and support API integration with external systems • Create and maintain relationships with service providers & agencies where data is shared. • Maintain and develop scripts to automate processes such as data loads and database procedures. expertise & practice • 4+ years’ practice as an Oracle database administrator • practice in Agile methodologies • Familiarity with writing PL/SQL programs • Developing Linux scripts to automate and manage system tasks • practice working on large and complex databases Desirable expertise & practice • Oracle Business Intelligence or Oracle Analytics • Python or other Object Orientated programming languages • Team Foundation Suite 2018 • S4/HANA SAP data structures • Spatial or unstructured data management How to Apply?
