My client is now lookng for a factory supervisor capable of assisting the manager to lead the team in ensuring high quality export standards are maintained. The hours: 5 days on and 2 days off a week. Looking for someone who can work Sunday to Thursday and have Friday and Saturday off. Sundays are fairly quiet. About you: The preferred candidate we are seeking should have experience and an interest within the Fishing Industry and have most of the following skills and attributes » E-cert approval and capabilities » Seafood processing qualifications » Health & Safety training and/or qualifications » Processing and packing experience » Be familiar with RMPS, quality control and compliance » Previously held a position of responsibility supervising staff » Able to work flexible hours and days » Confident in using excel, word documents, databases, and outlook » Be able to assist with day to day activities like grading, receiving, and export packing. » Physically fit and able to lift crayfish bins of up to 20kg What is on offer: » Competitive salary package » A fun and fast paced work culture » Full health insurance » Full training will be provided to the successful candidate. You dont necessarily need to have worked in a fishing related industry but you need to have an understanding and ability to get hands on with the team at times and lead the team. A food related background would be a good match. The company is willing to put the successful candidate through class 2 driving course, forklift course, first aid course, seafood course, MPI e-cert course to just name a few. However, you need to be dedicated and have similar experience in the food industry.
