Job Opportunity: Director, Diversity and Inclusion:Public Service CommissionJob description:Job DescriptionTe Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.This is a senior system leader function, located in the leadership abilities Diversity and Inclusion group. The group has an ambitious work programme, working alongside public service leaders and partner agencies, which requires us to take a measured and deliberate approach to focus on the things that matter most, and enables us to draw on and share best practice and capcapability across the system. The Director, Diversity and Inclusion provides strategic leadership abilities and delivers a system-wide work programme to support Public Service chief executives to develop an inclusive and diverse Public Service that reflects the communities we serve. They will work in partnership with chief executives, senior leaders, and key stakeholders across the system and within the Commission to ensure we have an integrated and sustainable approach to creating a diverse and inclusive public service This includes supporting a system wide plan for diversifying leadership abilities and growing a diverse leadership abilities pipeline, that uses the best available evidence to achieve significant step change, as well as a programme of work to support the implementation and evolution of Papa Pounamu (including the support of cross agency Employee Led Networks).
