Job Opportunity: Senior HR Advisor:Public Service CommissionJob description:Job DescriptionTe Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.We are seeking for an practiced Senior HR Advisor to support Pacific located HR teams to develop their HR capacity, capabilities, policies and processes. By joining the Public Service Fale’s Service Design & Delivery team, you will serve and support 16 Pacific Public Service Commissioners and their teams to achieve HR system goals and strengthen public services for their citizens. The Senior HR Advisor is responsible for co-designing, developing and project management of support initiatives from across the HR spectrum that enhance local Pacific capcapability and capacity. You will connect, engage, support and coach senior leaders and HR teams across the Pacific (primarily through virtual delivery), while ensuring that significant HR principles, tools, guidance and processes are applied and considered across different cultural and historical contexts. To be prosperous in this function you will have excellent relationship management and communication expertise to build networks across the NZ Public Service, and leaders across all levels of the Pacific. You will be an practiced HR generalist practitioner who has an interest and availability to serve the peoples of the Pacific. This is a Fixed Term Position Until December 2023.
