Your function will be to ensure the Chief M?ori agent can perform at their best, know where they need to be, have the information they need to make key decisions and deliver in a high pressure and fast paced environment. Te Kapa o Mataaho Aronui Te Kapa o Mataaho Aronui provides Wellington City Council (WCC) with a strategic M?ori voice and increased internal capcapability whilst raising the prominence and importance of strong treaty partnerships within the organisation. We are a future focused team with three key M?ori specific areas – M?ori Partnerships, M?ori Strategy and M?ori Success. About this function This integral function presents the opportunity for a credible, focused, and competent individual to provide 1:1 executive support to our Chief M?ori agent (CMO). You’ll be required to anticipate needs and upcoming priorities to enable them to operate at maximum efficiency. You will be pragmatic and able to use your business acumen to build relationships and credibility within the Mataaho Aronui group. In this varied function, no two days are the same. However, here’s a snapshot of what a day might include: » Anticipate and resolve critical issues on the CMO’s behalf where appropriate » Work as a trusted advisor for the CMO across the business group » Follow up and general matters, council issues/communications, correspondence on behalf the CMO » Responsible for processing all financial transactions such as invoices for payment, credit card statements and maintain clear records of monthly accruals and financial commitments » Build and manage relationships across all levels within Council and key external stakeholders We’re on the lookout for someone whois the following: » Proficient in diary, travel and inbox management » Displays strong written and verbal communication expertise and can demonstrate a high level of knowledge » Has a drive to lgain Te Reo and Tikanga whilst in the function » Demonstrates sound knowledge of budgets and project administration The Environment – Benefits Flexibility Everyone’s work/life balance needs are different.
