Medical Secretarial Administration SupportJob location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Permanent » » » • Two different functions avail with Private Specialists • 8.30 to 5pm, Epsom, free parking • Choose Administration/reception relief, or Secretary support The Positions 1) MEDICAL SECRETARY ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT To provide administrative support to your particular Surgeon/s and Surgeons Secretary with a range of administrative tasks as follows:- • Phone contact with their patients • Making up patient files in time for the everyday clinics • Enter patient details into patient management system • Seek prior approval on behalf of patient from Southern Cross and other medical insurance companies • Claim and process payments • General administration, assist with collating medical reports • Liaising with other Secretaries that you are assisting frequently income RANGE - $50 to $60,000 2) ADMINISTRATOR/RECEPTION RELIEF To support the everyday operations by providing timely and efficient administration services primarily to a specialist imaging unit within this large Practice; 90% administration, 10% covering one Receptionist (ie someone else covers the other Receptionist’s breaks) • To provide this specialist Imaging Dept with administration support ie preparing scans, providing Sonographers and Surgeons with all patient information in time for their everyday Clinics • Sourcing significant information such as GP referrals and test results as required • Monitor Clinics for any late changes and amend if necessary • Relieve Receptionist on their scheduled breaks • Billing worksheet, invoice and take payments • Other tasks broadly follow as listed above in Position 1) income RANGE - $60 to $65,000 On offer • Cross over Training to their specialist patient management software • An excellent income dependent on practice ie $50-60/65,000 dependent on function, if any medical practice or a step up into etc • 8.30am to 5pm • Job security! • Stunning work environment and conditions, lots of natural light, ergonomic • great team of colleagues/support staff who get on very well • Free on-site parking • Epsom, surrounded by large established trees • Career opportunities • Prestigious employer you will be proud to be part of • Step up even from Medical Reception/Admin!
