Job Offer: Senior Advisor, Perioperative and Suicide Mortality Review Committees:HainesAttractJob description:Job DescriptionNg?kau tuwhera – Open – Te t?piri uara – Adding value – Whakahohe – Energising – M? te iwi – It’s about people – Kotahitanga – TogetherWellington-located Full-time,fixed-term function to Friday, 30 June 2023 The Health Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) is looking to recruit an practiced Senior Advisor for the Perioperative and Suicide Mortality Review Committees (POMRC and SuMRC). The prosperous candidate will provide project management and analytic advice to support the maintenance of the perioperative and suicide mortality review systems in Aotearoa New Zealand, with an emphasis on equity, partnership, shared process, developing a strong evidence base and positive change results with the aim to reduce preventable perioperative deaths and deaths by suicide. You will have an interest in, or an knowledge of mortality review as a tool for system improvement as well as strong relationship management, project management and writing expertise. The ideal candidate will also have practice working with committees and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi. The Health Quality and Safety Commission is a stand-alone Crown entity with a Board responsible to the Minister of Health. The Commission is responsible for assisting providers across the whole health and discapability sector, both private and public, to improve service safety, quality, and results for all those who use these services in New Zealand.
