Job Offer: Senior Advisor, Planning and Performance:Public Service CommissionJob description:Job DescriptionTe Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.About us: This position sits within the Organisational Capcapability and Performance (OCP) group which enables the Commission to deliver and perform at its best. The group provides a range of corporate services including information technology, human resources, finance, property, planning and reporting, risk, and assurance. About the function: We are seeking to appoint a Senior Advisor into our Organisational Capcapability and Performance (OCP) group on a permanent basis. In this function, you will provide advice, support, and guidance to the business. You will work flexibly across the OCP group to enable the development and delivery of our work programme. You will also project manage essential and future focused corporate initiatives and you will support OCP as we work towards improving organisational health, providing continuous improvement, and modelling best practice for the Public Service. We are seeking for someone who is: » keen to tackle a wide variety of organisation-wide corporate initiatives » organised, and keen to own their projects from planning stage to delivery » a problem solver who works through matters in a logical and considered way » excited by the opportunity to get involved in the Commission's annual report, the Carbon Neutral Government Programme, and our risk and assurance framework. As a trusted influencer, you will collaborate across the Commission, with external parties, and maintain networks in other government agencies. You will build your profile across our small agency with a big reach.
