They set the benchmark for quality of systems and commitment to high client servicing standards. They are a well-organized contractor from top to bottom with great training and professional development emphasis. They have key clients in the industrial space including food and beverage offering some projects with a difference and added complexity. They are performing well with strong client relationships and project work spread into government and services sectors. As a business, they are looking to expand their industrial capcapability in the higher contract value range. As such, they are strategically looking for an practiced site manager that has a track record in the $20M range of builds with proven practice and exposure to the engineering challenges of complex industrial builds. This is a key function in this contractor's capcapability and as such significant skill set is essential. As an applicant you are carpentry trade qualified, with at least 10+ years' practice worked on NZ commercial construction projects of between $10M-$25M in value, particularly industrial projects. You have worked at the front end of projects and understand the ?how to?. Your knowledge of engineering issues and knowing how to move forward communicating the issues with consultants, engineers to achieve solutions is important. You have the capability to programme, schedule and sequence trades.
