We pride ourselves on providing exceptional programmes and delivering outstanding customer service. In this function, you will provide professional leadership abilities and subject matter skills in the development and delivery of highly engaging and impactful programmes of activities and practices. Among others, your day-to-day tasks will be to: • Curate an annual programme of creative courses, community-led exhibitions, and one-off events that connect with and engage the diverse audiences in our community and support local creatives • Respond to the needs and priorities of the local board and local communities by creating compelling programme opportunities. • Engage key audiences and drive high levels of participation and recommendation. • Empower and enable our diverse community by building networks and creating opportunities & partnerships • Identifying and investing in smart and innovative approaches and working alongside programme partners He k?rero m?u: About you We are seeking for an inspiring connector who can create opportunities and partnerships with the local arts and creative community and drive an engaging programme of exhibitions, workshops and events at the Nathan Homestead Pukepuke. You will have previous practice in leading and prosperously delivering community-located initiatives along with in-depth expertise of programme planning & project management methodologies. Strong communication and relationship building skills and are a must as well as an capability to foster community engagement. You will be a team player bringing your passion and the expertise to our dedicated team. You'll also understand the importance of relationships with M?ori in T?maki Makaurau and are committed to the recognition of te ao M?ori in this function. Ideally you can pronounce and use basic te reo M?ori in emails, meetings and conversations.
