Our client continues to expand our partnerships with the world's leading airline carriers, embark on an exciting phase of growth and continue to lead the in-flight catering industry.

As the result of increased demand for our services and company growth, we have exciting opportunities for Wash & Pack Supervisor to join our professional team located near Auckland Airport. We take extreme pride in the work we do. We have a unique service offering for our clients and work within the airline catering industry.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
   » Ensures completion of tasks in an effective and efficient way according to agreed objectives, budget, procedures, MPS and specifications; provides reporting as required.
   » Creates and maintains a positive working environment through appropriate actions and behaviours.
   » Resolves or/and escalates conflict and provides solutions and executes corrective actions.
   » Supports and maintains continuous improvement initiatives.
   » Carries out performance monitoring of team members on shift.
   » Communicates, engages and develops team members and internal department to enable them to maximise their contribution to the section's performance.
   » Carries out end of shift checks, ensuring equipment is shut down, shift issues are resolved, and accurate handover is complete.
   » Produces, handles and/or assembles food components and/or airline equipment and supplies. This includes feeding equipment, food stripping, dish stacking, tray stacking, and general kitchen duties as required

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills:
   » Minimum 2 years supervisory experience working in a high volume, manufacturing, food production, and/or restaurant/catering environment or equivalent experience in the related field is preferred
   » In-flight catering experience preferred
   » Attention to detail
   » Ability to follow and adhere to processes
   » Physically fit
   » Available to work a 7-day fixed roster (including public holidays, weekends, morning or afternoon shifts) 7am-3:30pm
   » 2 Weeks training provided
