Job description

We are open to full-time permanent or part-time/remote work using telehealth.

Come and make this the defining function of your career. It's the chance to excel and grow professionally - surrounded by dedicated, supportive and highly talented colleagues. Yet it's also a huge opportunity to help shape and guide the evolution of our Blood and Cancer Service - setting us up with the best people, processes, and patient-centred care. What's more - while you'll thrive in the professional challenge and satisfaction this creates - you'll be enjoying Information technology all while living in one of the most enviable locations in the world: stunning Southern New Zealand. We are dedicated to giving everything we've got to creating a world-class oncology service for our communities and our team. So if you're ready to give Information technology your all to be part of this exciting journey, read on.

It's difficult to guess what you'll enjoy most about this function - perhaps it'll be the chance to play a key function in delivering and enhancing safe, best practice and patient centred clinical services. Or maybe it'll be being part of a supportive, high-performing and highly collaborative team - people with a genuine passion for what they do, and for driving our service forward. In either case, it's simply great to have both as part of the mix?and it's a mix where your clinical leadership abilities and reliable medical input will be respected and compensateed. We're sure you will also enjoy the scope to lead the development of clinical techniques and innovations; and if you if you have practice in breast, prostate or head and neck treatments that's a definite positive.

We operate three Linear Accelerators, including two Elekta HD Versa and a Varian TrueBeam, a Monaco treatment planning system and Mosaiq oncology patient management system and Siemens CT scanner. We deliver body stereotactic treatment for lung and spine in addition to providing the national cranial stereotactic service.

It's essential you come to us with a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists or an equivalent qualification, enabling specialist (vocational) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

If you share our passion for innovation and continuous improvement in patient centred care and are excited at the prospect of helping us create and navigate our future path, we're keen to hear from you.
