Gantry Operator / WarehouseLocation All WaikatoWaikato Job type Permanent Salary 25 to 28 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » » » Expression of Interest - Factory Gantry Operator. » Competitive pay rates » New purpose-built factory » Wellbeing programmes » Opportunity for growth » A supportive team » Safe working environment » Continuous training » A stable job in these turbulent times Day to Day you will be responsible for: » Organising all outward freight movement and ensure all documentation and labelling are completed accurately » Assisting with team production targets » Maintaining a clean and well-organised working area » Ensuring that every single product is quality checked before despatching » Communicating workload to ensure all customer orders are organised and delivered on time » Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives » Safely loading and strapping products before they go out to our customers To be considered for this role you will: » Proven experience with a gantry crane with appropriate licence » Exceptional problem-solving skills » High attention to detail and accuracy to ensure that all products are of the highest quality » Ability to work unsupervised » Specific experience in glass manufacturing would be advantageous, but not necessary » Have previous experience working in a stores or warehouse environment. » Good physical ability and previously experience assisting with dispatch or loading duties » Be a good team player with strong communication skills » Have a good understanding of health and safety in a manufacturing environment To be considered for this position, please apply online and attach a current CV and any relevant employment related certificates.
