PUBLIC: PAWA 2021, after a slightly longer hiatus than anticipated, due to covid-19. PAWA is back! and we are again hosting a 5 day festival dedicated to executeance art, running from the 14-18th November in Wellington central. We are seeking for a social media intern that can get creative and help us promote and document PAWA 2021! What kind of person are we looking for? -Someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about social media and knows the ?ins' and ?outs' of facebook and instagram. -Someone who is interested in the arts. (Even better if you're interested in performance art... NOT to be confused with performing arts.) -Someone who is a great communicator.* -Someone who is creative and can take great pictures/videos on their phones. -Someone who can work independently and who takes initiative. -Someone who is located in Wellington. -Ideally suited to a student, recent graduate or someone early-career looking to gain practice in the arts. **Note a majority of the communication will be online on platforms such as email, whatsapp and phone calls, as our staff are located in numerous locations across Aotearoa and Australia, so it's important you are comfortable with online communication. What tasks will you need to execute? -You will be incharge of monitoring/updating PAWA's facebook and instagram. -Reaching out to adjacent social media accounts to share our content. -Posting on facebook/instagram. -Making instagram stories. -Helping with content creation. -Making facebook events. -Updating email mail lists as well as helping create and send out newsletters. -Using facebook/instagram business (paid campaigns) to help promote our page and events. -There are also likely to be other related odd jobs that we will ask for your assistance on. Practicalities We expect you to work 2-4 hours per week on PAWA from the 19th July- October 18th, then from the October 18th-November 7th we expect the workload to be a bit higher, in preparation for the festival, so Information technology would be approximately 4-6 hours per week. In festival week we need you to be available full time from the 8th-14th November (This would be a paid week of work). For the two weeks post the festival you would again be working approximately 2-4 hours per week and your contract would end on the 1st December.
