We are seeking for a Transport Operations Operator to work in a fast-paced environment commencing ASAP till December. Looking for candidates with previous customer service and NZ incident/traffic management practice who have the capability to hit the ground running. » Temporary assignment commencing ASAP till December 2021 » Johnsonville location » availability to work within a full shift rotation on a rolling 24/7 roster regime » Available ASAP - we can work with up to 5-day notice period » High profile government organisation » $25.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on practice We are currently looking for candidates for an opportunity to work for a large Government organisation as a Transport Operations Operator! this function requires an excellent level of customer service, capability to multitask and expertise of NZ geography. Day to Day: » Ensuring the New Zealand public is kept safe on the roads by managing New Zealand's transport network and respond appropriately to events reported by emergency services » High-level customer service and internal/external stakeholder engagement » System savvy and capability to work in multiple systems » Providing accurate, significant, and timely traveller information to road users » Resilience and the capability to work well under pressure, including staying calm when dealing with matters of high priority and importance » You will receive initial training in the form of both classroom and practical practice, and work with a buddy for the first few months before going solo » You will need to be available to work on a rotating shift schedule, located on a 24/7 roster The ideal candidate will have proven practice in these tasks as well as a flexible working style and strong initiative.
